Welcome to Appliguru! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our job application concierge services. By registering for and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Appliguru's services, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms, whether or not you register as a user. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "you," or "your") and Appliguru ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Services

Appliguru provides job application concierge services, including but not limited to:

• Job search and matching based on your preferences
• Resume and CV optimization for ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems)
• Job application submission on your behalf
• Application tracking and progress reporting
• LinkedIn profile optimization (as an add-on service)
• Professional CV writing (as an add-on service)
• Interview preparation assistance (depending on plan)

3. Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Have the legal right to work in the locations you specify

4. Registration and Account

4.1 Account Creation

To use our services, you must:

• Complete the registration form with accurate information
• Provide a current resume/CV
• Specify your job preferences and requirements
• Choose a service plan

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account information
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4.3 Accurate Information

You agree to provide truthful and accurate information about your qualifications, experience, and job preferences. Misrepresentation may result in immediate termination of services.

5. Service Plans and Pricing

5.1 Available Plans

We offer three main service plans:

• Basic: 3 applications per week (approximately 6 per month)
• Standard: 4 applications per week (approximately 12 per month)
• Premium: Unlimited applications based on suitable opportunities

5.2 Add-On Services

• LinkedIn Optimization: ₦10,000 (one-time)
• Professional CV Writing: ₦7,000 (one-time)
• Bundle (LinkedIn + CV): ₦15,000 (one-time)

5.3 Pricing and Payment

• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes
• Payment terms will be communicated upon account setup
• Late payments may result in service suspension

5.4 Plan Changes

You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes typically take effect at the beginning of the next billing cycle. Contact us to modify your plan.

6. Our Obligations

Appliguru agrees to:

• Use reasonable efforts to match jobs to your specified preferences
• Tailor your resume for each application to optimize ATS compatibility
• Submit applications accurately and in a timely manner
• Track and report on all applications submitted
• Maintain the confidentiality of your information
• Provide customer support as specified in your plan
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

7. Your Obligations

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your qualifications
• Supply a current and truthful resume/CV
• Respond promptly to interview invitations
• Notify us immediately if you receive a job offer or are no longer seeking employment
• Update us of any changes to your job preferences or contact information
• Cooperate with our team and respond to requests for information
• Not use our services for illegal or fraudulent purposes

8. Limitations and Disclaimers

8.1 No Guarantee of Results

Important: Appliguru does not and cannot guarantee:

• Job interviews or interview rates
• Job offers or employment
• Specific number of responses from employers
• Success in any particular timeframe

Employment outcomes depend on numerous factors beyond our control, including but not limited to market conditions, employer preferences, your qualifications, and competition from other candidates.

8.2 Application Discretion

We reserve the right to:

• Determine which positions are appropriate matches for your profile
• Decline to apply to positions that do not meet minimum quality standards
• Refuse to apply to companies that we believe may be fraudulent or illegitimate

8.3 Service Availability

While we strive for continuous availability:

• Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services with reasonable notice

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of your resume, CV, and personal information. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to use, reproduce, and modify your materials solely for the purpose of providing our services.

9.2 Our Content

All content on our website and in our services, including text, graphics, logos, software, and design, is the property of Appliguru and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

10. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of all non-public information exchanged during the course of our services. See our Privacy Policy for detailed information on how we handle your data.

11. Termination

11.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination:

• We will cease submitting applications on your behalf
• You remain responsible for any outstanding fees
• Your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy

11.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You provide false or misleading information
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Payment is not received
• We are unable to verify your information

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, all rights and obligations cease, except for:

• Payment obligations for services already rendered
• Confidentiality obligations
• Any provisions that by their nature should survive

12. Refund Policy

12.1 Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a satisfaction guarantee within the first 7 days of service. If you're not satisfied, contact us for a full refund.

12.2 After First Week

After the first week, refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Factors considered include:

• Number of applications submitted
• Services provided
• Reason for dissatisfaction

12.3 Add-On Services

LinkedIn Optimization and CV Writing services are non-refundable once work has commenced, except in cases of service failure.

13. Liability and Indemnification

13.1 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Appliguru's liability is limited to the amount you paid for services in the 30 days preceding the claim. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Lost profits or opportunities
• Lost data or information
• Actions or decisions of employers
• Outcomes of job applications or interviews

13.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Appliguru harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Your misrepresentation of qualifications or experience
• Your use of our services

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Informal Resolution

In the event of any dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter through good faith negotiations.

14.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14.3 Arbitration

Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Nigeria.

15. General Provisions

15.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Appliguru.

15.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or website notice. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance.

15.3 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

15.4 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

15.5 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
